MEXPAT SOCIETY

Strength Through Society

The MexPat Society was set out with the goal of fostering a strong community and network among the ever-growing expatriate community in Mexico. The non-profit association strives to provide support, initiate conversations and drive collaboration between our expatriate friends and the larger Mexico society - so as to build better integration and harmony for all.

About Us

The MexPat Society was founded by a group of ex-pat executives who have lived and worked in Mexico for decades. Some of us have married Mexicans and all are fully immersed in the Mexican culture.

All are working in, or retired from, the commercial marine insurance industry. We primarily insure the offshore drilling rigs and support vessels of international companies for their contracts with PEMEX.

The MexPat society is a long-discussed idea that has become a passion and we are now launching it. It is well funded and we are committed to making it the premier ex-pat association in Mexico.

Mision

A platform for ex-patriots in Mexico to support each other, network, build a national sense of community and integrate into Mexican Society.

Vision

To be the premier ex-patriate association in Mexico – committed to serving members and supporting their experiences in this wonderful country.

Values

•   We will always advocate for our membership and strive to collaborate with the greater Mexican community. Hopefully, improving the experiences of all.

•   Everyone has different cultural practices and beliefs. Members should be respectful of each other’s differences and to the people and culture of Mexico…never forgetting that we are immigrants here.

•   We promise to be honest and upfront about all things related to the association and its members.

Benefits

We will leverage our strength in numbers to obtain discounts on goods and services for our members, as all associations do. Our focus however, will be on more meaningful projects that are helpful to the MexPat community and our lives here in Mexico.
